H2H Baseball and Pro Playoff Pick'em Champions Crowned

Scottsdale, AZ - November, 28 2004 - Head2Head Sports, a leader in online and live on-location fantasy sports events, announces their 2004 Fantasy Baseball Winners. Scott Epperson has been crowned the Champion of H2H Salary Cap Baseball and Steve Belmont is the Pro Playoff Pick'em Champion.

Scott Epperson and his team, Cubs Win it All, surged ahead of the pack in the World Series round of the 9th annual H2H Salary Cap game to win the $5,000 Grand Prize. Scott was in thirteenth position coming into the final round and made some key roster moves to take the title from second place finisher, Jason Ruppert, by the slim margin of four points. Scott demonstrated his baseball expertise early by taking the regular season title in his 30 team league.

In the first annual Pro Baseball Playoff Pick'em, Steve Belmont and his team, Laura's Lumber Co., took the title in a close contest winning over Paul Albanese and his team, Octoberfest, by only eight points. Head2Head Sports introduced this new playoff pick and hold'em game to give its members another opportunity to participate in the excitement of post-season professional baseball play. The Playoff Pick'em gives a premium to the members that can predict the teams that will go furthest in the playoffs and the players that will have the biggest impact for those teams - all selections are made prior to the first playoff game being played.
