Despite the Pelicans' practice facility being closed due to coronavirus, the NBA granted a special exception to the organization allowing Zion Williamson to receive treatment there, Christian Clark of NOLA.com reports. Executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin noted, "They weren't able to do any court work during that period of time, but they were able to get the [flexibility] work in needed on the table, and so that was important."

During an April 30 conference call, Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry spoke on the possibility of Zion Williamson facing a minutes restriction if the NBA returns to play this season. "We'll have those conversations," Gentry said. "Obviously, his health will be the number one priority, but the restriction was really off after his first 5-6 games. So, he was playing the minutes that he would normally play, considering with any situation really. But, it will be something that we talk about when we do resume and as far as how it looks for Zion from a minute standpoint, and we'll do that really with some of the other players."

Zion Williamson's game with the Pelicans at Sacramento on Wednesday has been postponed, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.

Zion Williamson had 23 points (9-15 FG, 1-1 3PT, 4-6 FT) and seven rebounds in Sunday's win over Minnesota.

Zion Williamson scored 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 FT), along with six rebounds, two assists, the blocks and a steal in 32 minutes Friday night during the Pelicans' 110-104 win over Miami.

Zion Williamson finished with 21 points (9-18 FG, 3-5 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 127-123 loss to Dallas.

Zion Williamson posted 25 points (10-19 FG, 5-9 FT), eight rebounds, four steals, three assists and one block in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 139-134 loss to the Timberwolves.

Zion Williamson has been cleared to play in both games of back-to-back sets going forward, Andrew Lopez of ESPN.com reports.

Zion Williamson put up 35 points (12-16 FG, 11-13 FT) and seven rebounds in 33 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Lakers.
