Impact:
The Cardinals might be in the market for a veteran to serve as Matt Leinart's backup. Leinart would probably have to struggle or get hurt in order to lose his starting job. Wherever he lands, Clemens will probably be a backup heading into training camp.

Impact:
Clemens is on hand should Sanchez suffer any setbacks Sunday, but the rookie QB is good to go after getting through practice this week in good shape.

Impact:
Sanchez got around pretty well while sporting a brace on his knee Wednesday, so the feeling is that he'll probably get the Week 15 starting nod over Clemens as long as he feels well Thursday and doesn't suffer a setback before Sunday.

The Jets realized this was a game they could control with the running game and defense and they did just that. Even if Mark Sanchez gets back on the field, don't expect a lot from New York's passing game down the stretch.

Mark Sanchez (knee) was upset by the decision to sit him on Sunday, so one would assume that he'll do everything possible to be ready next week, meaning Clemens might have had his first and final start of the year.

For as bad as the Bucs are, they actually have a decent pass defense ranking, partly because teams run all over them each week. We wouldn't be surprised to see a heavy dose of Thomas Jones and Shonn Greene this week, meaning Clemens seems like nothing beyond an emergency play.
