Scoring

Each race your team earns one (+1) fantasy point for each actual Sprint Cup series point earned by your drivers.

Sprint Cup points: The winner of each NASCAR race receives 180 points. The runner-up in each event scores 170. From there, the point total declines in five-point increments for places three through six, points awarded drop four points per driver for positions seven through 11 and three-point increments separate drivers' points for finishers in 12th place or lower. The 43rd, or last-place driver, gets 34 points.

Bonus points: There are also bonus points up for grabs at each event. Drivers receive five points for leading a lap and an additional five points for leading the most laps.

Head2Head Sports keeps score for you! For example, if you have Dale Earnhardt Jr. on your race team and he wins a race, then you score 180 fantasy points. If Dale Jr. leads the race for more laps than any other driver, you'd earn an additional 10 bonus points. Add the points won by each of your drivers to obtain your weekly score. Points scored carry over from week to week, and your total score is based on your total points in the 10 races.

Because the driver entry list changes each week, please keep in mind that your roster of drivers DOES NOT carry over from week to week. So be sure to select new drivers prior to the weekly deadline of Midnight PT each Friday.
