Scoring
For each round of the playoffs, beginning with the start of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, your players earn points for their actual on-ice performance. Score more points than the competition and you're on your way to grabbing the Grand Prize!
Forwards & Defensemen Scoring
- Goal: 3
- Power Play Goal: +1 (bonus)
- Short Handed Goal: +2 (bonus)
- Assist: 2
- Plus/Minus (Defensemen only): +1/-1
- Hat Trick: +5 (bonus)
Points will be added or subtracted for each Plus or Minus point that are only received by defensemen. Plus/Minus stats for all other players (forwards & goaltenders) are ignored.
Goaltender Scoring
- Win: 5
- Shutout: 3
- Goal Allowed: -1
- Save: +1 (Every 5 saves)
(i.e., 34 saves=6 points)
Any goals, assists, or plus/minus statistics earned by goaltenders do not count towards goaltender points. Only one goaltender staff is allowed per team. A goaltender staff may not be used in the flex position.
