Head2Head Sports Announces 2005 Fantasy Football Champions
H2H Football and Playoff Pick'em winners are crowned
Scottsdale, AZ - February 13, 2006 - Head2Head Sports, a leading Fantasy Football contest provider, announces their 2005 Fantasy Football winners. Delton Shaw has been crowned the 2005 H2H Football Champ and will be awarded the $25,000 grand prize. Donald Mrugazski topped all contenders for the Pro Playoff Pick'em Championship and will be awarded the $2,500 grand prize.
Delton Shaw's Gunit Gorrillas hung on to the top spot in H2H Football with a solid 77 point performance in the last round of play by riding the Steelers through the Super Bowl. Randy Hayes and his team, the Franklinton Red Rams, jumped from 3rd place in the Super Bowl to win the $5,000 second place prize. Roy Winslow, owner of Tippy's Maulers, was in 10th place after the Conference Championships and was able to make up significant ground in the Super Bowl to win the $2,000 third place prize.
In the third annual Pro Football Playoff Pick'em, Donald Mrugazski took the title and the $2,500 grand prize in a close contest win over John Goodyear by six points. Donald passed John by making the selection of Seattle players Shaun Alexander, Darrell Jackson and Josh Brown. The Playoff Pick'em challenges the players to predict the pro teams that will go furthest in the playoffs and select the players which will have the biggest impact for those teams.
