Head2Head Sports Announces 2006 Fantasy Football Champions
H2H Football and Playoff Pick'em winners are crowned
Scottsdale, AZ - February 12, 2007 - Head2Head Sports, a leading Fantasy Football contest provider, announces their 2006 Fantasy Football winners. Sharda Fornnarino has been crowned the 2006 H2H Football Champ and will be awarded the $25,000 grand prize. Travis Hodges ran away from all contenders for the Pro Playoff Pick'em Championship and will be awarded the $2,500 grand prize.
Shard Fornnarino's Ozone Park Monks blew away all participants for the top spot in H2H Football by 28 points after the Super Bowl. John Chenoweth and his team, Grasskickers, squeaked out 2nd place by three points to win the $5,000 second place prize. Tom Woznik, owner of WOZ, took third place by three points to win the $2,000 third place prize.
In the fourth annual Pro Football Playoff Pick'em, Travis Hodges took the title and the $2,500 grand prize in a close contest win over Jeff Matthews by nine points. Travis road Thomas Jones, Tom Brady, the Indy defense & special teams, Peyton Manning and Adam Vinatieri to victory. The Playoff Pick'em challenges the players to predict the pro teams that will go furthest in the playoffs and select the players which will have the biggest impact for those teams.
